Whether you’re seeking an internship or an early step in your professional career, Bowman offers challenging opportunities for aspiring team members. Apply your academic knowledge and real-world skills as you participate in client projects with constraints and deadlines alongside mentors and senior project team members. Learn more about the Cultural Values that guide our day-to-day activities and our commitment to growth through Professional Development programs.
Interns gain on the job experience as integral members of Bowman project teams, learning and working with seasoned professionals, and contributing to real projects. They may visit project sites, conduct research, meet employees throughout the company, attend client meetings, present material to the Bowman community, and gain exposure to different disciplines. Internships at Bowman typically last 10-12 weeks during the summer and have specific start and stop dates.
Looking for the first step (or the next step) in your early career? Ready to make an impact? Bowman offers opportunities for new and young professionals to leverage their academic and previous work experience and critical thinking skills in diverse projects.
Not only will you participate in projects beside senior team members, you’ll have regular employee-manager check-ins to collaborate on goals, map a path for progress, and engage in feedback and dialogue.
Bowman also offers professional development programs within the company, encourages participation in professional societies and seminars, and supports formal continuing education and professional licensure.
